Erikson launches assessment center
Despite growing attention to early intervention with at-risk children in Illinois, unmet and growing needs remain for assessment, referral, and affordable treatment.
Erikson is stepping into that gap with our new
Center for Children and Families , which provides multidisciplinary, family-centered direct services for children from birth to age eight who have developmental, social-emotional, behavioral, and learning issues. The center provides early intervention and infant mental health services while incorporating Erikson's
Fussy Baby Network. To learn more about how you can support this exciting new initiative,

International symposium looks globally for paths to better early math education
The
Early Mathematics Education Project hosted Erikson's first
International Symposium on Early Mathematics Education on April 17 and 18, 2009. Experts from Australia, Japan, Singapore, and the United States shared perspectives on how math is taught to young children in these countries and discussed how this knowledge can be applied to improve early math learning in Illinois and across the nation. The event was sponsored by the McCormick Foundation.
